Photography Education and Coaching

Solution-oriented education and coaching for photography entrepreneurs or those who dream of becoming one. I offer online coaching lasting about four weeks, as well as one day of intensive live coaching. Before booking, we’ll have an introductory call that doesn’t bind you to anything.

Coaching is guiding and working together towards your goals. The coaching period also takes time outside of meetings, so the best time for coaching is during the off season.

As a coach, I am encouraging and straightforward. I believe in being solution-oriented and it shows in the way I guide my coachees. There is always a solution to a problem and my job is to help you find it. My trainees are ready to step out of their comfort zone and examine their own work in order to improve.

Confidence in Photography – Online coaching

Confidence in Photography – Online coaching is for you who want to develop your own shooting style and need professional support to master the basics. First, we go through your skill level and based on this, we set goals for development areas. The training lasts about four weeks.

You are a suitable candidate if you have:

  • Camera and computer
  • Basics of camera and image processing
  • Adobe software (you can start using it during training)
  • Entrepreneurial or hobby background

Service Design – Online coaching

In Service Design – Online coaching we clarify your service offering to meet customers’ needs and your own goals. It may be unclear to you who your target group is and what you want to offer.

If necessary, we do competitive analysis, customer surveys and a customer profile. We plan a service path for different customer groups. We can use marketing methods that support the visibility of new services. The training lasts about four weeks.

You are a suitable candidate if you have:

  • Company in the photography industry or you are light entrepreneur
  • Website
  • At least one social media channel

What does online coaching include?

First meeting
We’ll discuss your challenges and I’ll find out about your skill level. We write down goals and start working on them.
Second meeting
If I have asked to provide material for another meeting, we will review them. We will continue from where we left off in the previous training session. We dig deeper to find a suitable solution to the challenges you face. In the second meeting, you may be given tasks to work on in your own time.
Third meeting
We go through the tasks and work on them together if necessary. Task can be, for example, conducting a customer survey or creating an e-mail list. We work on goals and plan the content of the last meeting according to your wishes.
Fourth meeting
Last meeting will include the topics you wish. We’ll go through confusing things or implement something that has become difficult for you. We make sure that you can continue independently with the new things you learned in the training. All materials, such as video recordings of coaching meetings, remain for your use.

Business & Photography live coaching is a one-day intensive coaching at my studio in Hyvinkää. The preliminary planning of the day covers the basics of the photography business and can be customized according to your needs.
